Scope and calculation
Totals are one-way KRW fares for the whole party: adults, children, paid infant seats and applicable single-ticket supplements. Refundable deposits are shown separately.
AREX Express takes 43 minutes between T1 and Seoul Station, or 51 minutes for T2. These are train times, excluding immigration, waiting and terminal walking.

Daegu Airport: bus 401 serves three destinations
Bus 401 links Daegu Airport directly with the stops below for Dongdaegu Station, the Dongseong-ro entrance and Suseongmot Lake. From the airport, board toward Beommul 1-dong at 대구국제공항건너, opposite the airport. Return toward Gatbawi and alight at 대구국제공항앞, in front of the airport. Walking to and from the stops is additional; check stop locations and last departures in the official route viewer.
Adults aged 19 or over pay KRW 1,500 per person, one way, by transport card. All Daegu city buses have operated without cash since April 1, 2025; Tmoney is accepted. Without a transport card, the calculator withholds the total until you have one. Card purchase and top-up costs are separate from the bus fare.
Ages 6–12 pay KRW 400 and ages 13–18 pay KRW 850 only after you confirm that each traveller’s card has the required date-of-birth discount registration. For an ordinary family with a guardian, the calculator counts up to three under-6s free across the whole party. This cap is not multiplied by the adult count. Organised groups, additional infants, separate seats and baggage conditions need further confirmation.
Example: two adults with transport cards, an 8-year-old and a 15-year-old with registered discount cards, no infants and no bags total KRW 1,500 × 2 + 400 + 850 = KRW 4,250 one way. This is a fixed explanatory example, separate from your result above.
There is no metro station directly at the terminal. Korea Airports Corporation explains bus and taxi connections at Ayanggyo Station. This comparison includes verified bus 401 information and a taxi reference; destination-specific taxi totals, journey times, luggage and child-seat conditions are not estimated.
| Destination | Airport → city: alight | City → airport: board |

| Dongdaegu Station (underpass stop) | Dongdaegu Station Underpass 1 (동대구역지하도1) | Dongdaegu Station Underpass 2 (동대구역지하도2) |
| Dongseong-ro entrance (Yangnyeongsi stop) | Yangnyeongsi-ap (약령시앞) | Yangnyeongsi-geonneo, Dongseong-ro entrance (약령시건너(동성로입구)) |

Example: one adult and two infants
For T1 → Seoul Station Express, one adult with two under-6s, no requested infant seats and no bags pays KRW 13,000 + KRW 9,500 for the extra infant = KRW 22,500. Reserving seats for both infants makes the total KRW 32,000.

Check baggage and child rules first
- All-stop seats are unreserved. A family total is not shown if the required child or youth route fare is unverified.
- Baggage checks require count, weight and total dimensions. Ask the operator about excess bags, special equipment and stroller exceptions.
- Unverified end-to-end rail connections, taxi and pickup prices are not estimated.
- Fares leave the ranking when either the journey date or today is at least 30 days after verification, pending a new check.

A few good questions
Can I compare trips from Daegu Airport to Dongdaegu, Dongseong-ro and Suseongmot?
Yes. Select Daegu International Airport to see bus 401 and taxi information for all three destinations in either direction. The adult bus fare is KRW 1,500 one way by transport card; registered discount cards give fares of KRW 400 for ages 6–12 and KRW 850 for ages 13–18. Cash is not accepted. Unverified infant-seat or baggage conditions and taxi totals are excluded from totals and rankings.
Does the reverse direction cost the same?
Reverse calculations use only options verified for both directions. Stop locations, booking methods and timetables may differ by direction; check the official instructions.
Does an unranked option mean no service?
No. It means the full cost or conditions for your party have not been verified. Check the linked official information.
