A pass saves money when the fares it covers exceed its price and additional card cost. All-stop trips boarding at Incheon are excluded; eligible trips ending there are covered.
Use the same journeys for both options
Tmoney total = all journey fares + required Tmoney card cost. Climate total = pass + required physical card + fares outside its dates or coverage + a Tmoney card if those journeys require one.
A manually entered fare is your assumption. Entering it never makes unverified coverage eligible. Enter each complete journey after transfer discounts once; do not duplicate its legs.
Short-term passes and service days
Add KRW 3,000 if you need a physical card. Consecutive service days begin on the recharge date; this is not a rolling 24-hour pass. For overnight rides, use the operator’s service date. The verified youth 7-day offer has additional eligibility checks and is outside this standard-fare comparison.
| Duration | Standard pass KRW |
|---|---|
| 1 day | 5,000 |
| 2 days | 8,000 |
| 3 days | 10,000 |
| 5 days | 15,000 |
| 7 days | 20,000 |
Direction and coverage matter
- These short-term rules apply from October 1, 2026. Gimpo Airport Station is in Seoul; Incheon T1 and T2 allow All-stop alighting only.
- AREX Express, airport buses, Sinbundang, GTX and Busan journeys are not included. Confirm exact journeys not listed here against official coverage.
Example: ten journeys over three days
Ten Seoul Station ↔ Hongik Univ. All-stop journeys within three days cost KRW 1,550 × 10 = KRW 15,500. With an existing Tmoney card and a newly purchased physical Climate Card, the pass option is KRW 10,000 + KRW 3,000 = KRW 13,000: a KRW 2,500 difference in this example.

Where does WOWPASS fit?
WOWPASS combines payment and currency exchange with Tmoney transport functionality. The Tmoney transport balance is topped up separately. It is not compared as an unlimited pass; check issuance, payment and exchange conditions in the transport-card guide and official service.

A few good questions
Can I include journeys in Busan or Jeju?
Yes. Enter their fares as outside-coverage journeys and the same cost is added to both options. This does not make the Climate Card valid there.
Does the fare I enter determine pass coverage?
No. Coverage is tied to verified routes and direction. An unverified journey prevents a recommendation even when a price is entered.
