If arriving at Gimhae, compare the airport routes to Busan Station, Seomyeon or Haeundae according to your actual hotel. Rail passengers also need a separate onward leg from the station to the coast.
Haeundae Beach is reached from Haeundae Station on Metro Line 2. Separate the beachfront walk from the walk to the metro, and check elevator locations when using a stroller.

Day trip and overnight routes

- Coastal day: Haeundae Beach → lunch nearby → a walk toward Dongbaekseom → Gwangalli for dinner. Do not assume the entire Dongbaek coastal trail suits a stroller; check slopes and steps.
- One night: use day one for the coast, then choose Nampo and/or Gamcheon on day two before returning to your station. Hillside lanes are residential spaces; follow access and noise notices.
- On your departure day, keep the final stop near your luggage base rather than adding another distant beach.

Hotel and booking checks
For a late arrival, compare a station-area stay followed by a coastal day. For an early seaside walk, compare Haeundae or Gwangalli. Check the booked room’s orientation and extra-person terms rather than relying on generic view photos.

Seasons, sea conditions and events
A beach walk and swimming need separate plans. Follow the day’s swimming zones and safety controls, and plan indoor breaks against winter winds. For fireworks or lights, check traffic restrictions and your return route as well as event status.

Keep family stops close together
The Marine Natural History Museum is an indoor option in Dongnae, not next door to Haeundae. See the family guide for exhibit and Deullak Nallak entry, nursing and changing facilities. Gimhae’s loan strollers are for the public terminal area, not for sightseeing in the city.

Can I see all of Busan in one day?
Choose one cluster rather than compressing both coast and old town into a full checklist. Fix your arrival, departure and final transfer first.
Is Haeundae the only good family base?
No. If your plans focus on Dongnae or the old town, compare travel times there. Confirm occupancy, bedding and baby equipment with each property.
Do beach festivals repeat on the same dates?
Do not assume so. Distinguish a past feature from the current year’s notice and check bookings and traffic controls separately.
